Medical School MD + DO Mastery

A 4-year, board-aligned study system for medical school and licensing exams.

Walk the full Year 1–4 curriculum — foundational sciences, organ-system blocks, clinical clerkships and advanced practice — each with mastery checklists and linked learning resources, plus a dedicated review system for school exams, Shelf/COMAT, USMLE Step 1–3 and COMLEX-USA Levels 1–3.

SCHOOL EXAM + PRACTICAL MASTERY

YEAR 1 | PAGE 8C - CADAVER / IMAGE / HISTOLOGY / EMBRYOLOGY PRACTICALS

C. WHAT SCHOOL EXAMS ACTUALLY REQUIRE — GROSS ANATOMY PRACTICAL

Timed structure ID from cadaver/prosection/model; relations; innervation; blood supply; actions; lesion localization; radiographic cross-sections.

C. WHAT SCHOOL EXAMS ACTUALLY REQUIRE — HISTOLOGY PRACTICAL

Recognize tissue/organ at multiple magnifications; identify landmark cells/layers; distinguish look-alikes; explain structure-function correlation.

EMBRYOLOGY WRITTEN / IMAGE

Sequence events by week; match derivatives; explain anomalies; connect pharyngeal arches, neural crest, heart/gut/urogenital development to adult anatomy.

D. 7-DAY BLOCK / PRACTICAL REVIEW CYCLE

ResourceDescriptionLink
DAYS 1-2Rebuild region maps from memory; identify lab structures without labels; annotate only missed relations.
DAYS 3-4Histology slide sets + embryology timelines. Require a verbal reason for every identification.
DAY 5Mixed anatomy stations: gross + cross-section + imaging + histology + developmental anomaly.
DAY 6Timed mock practical / school-style quiz; classify each miss: ID, relation, innervation, vessel, action, image or embryology.
DAY 7Targeted repair only. Re-test the same missed relationships on NEW images/angles so recognition is not picture-dependent.

D. 7-DAY BLOCK / PRACTICAL REVIEW CYCLE — E. ERROR-LOG TAXONOMY

  • Spatial relation error - knew names but not what lies anterior/posterior/medial/lateral.
  • Neurovascular error - confused root/branch/territory or vessel origin/course.
  • Functional lesion error - could identify a structure but not predict deficit.
  • Histology mis-ID - confused tissues because recognition depended on one memorized picture.
  • Embryology sequence error - knew derivative but not developmental mechanism/timing.

D. 7-DAY BLOCK / PRACTICAL REVIEW CYCLE — SCHOOL-EXAM GATE

Proceed when you can complete timed mixed stations from unfamiliar images/angles, not just recognize your school atlas. Aim for stable performance across gross, imaging, histology and embryology rather than one strong subsection masking another. VIDEO-FIRST | SCHOOL-EXAM + BOARD-EXAM MASTERY
