Medical School MD + DO Mastery

A 4-year, board-aligned study system for medical school and licensing exams.

Walk the full Year 1–4 curriculum — foundational sciences, organ-system blocks, clinical clerkships and advanced practice — each with mastery checklists and linked learning resources, plus a dedicated review system for school exams, Shelf/COMAT, USMLE Step 1–3 and COMLEX-USA Levels 1–3.

HEMATOLOGY / ONCOLOGY

YEAR 2 | PAGE 25A - CBC, ANEMIA + HEMOSTASIS CONCEPT MASTERY

READ THE BLOOD AS A SYSTEM

Start with CELL LINE -> COUNT/INDEX -> RETIC RESPONSE -> SMEAR -> HEMOLYSIS/IRON/COAGULATION LABS -> MARROW OR PERIPHERAL PROCESS. For bleeding, separate PLATELET failure from COAGULATION-factor failure before naming the disorder.

A. DEEP HEMATOLOGY VIDEOS - DIRECT & PLAYABLE — HEMATOLOGY CLOSED-BOOK CHECK

- Classify anemia by MCV + reticulocyte response, then use iron studies/hemolysis labs/smear to narrow the mechanism. - Predict PT, aPTT, platelet count, fibrinogen and D-dimer patterns in vWD, hemophilia, DIC, liver disease and vitamin K deficiency. - Distinguish platelet-type mucocutaneous bleeding from coagulation-factor deep-tissue/joint bleeding before reading the answer choices. - From a CBC with cytopenias or abnormal cells, decide whether the problem is production, destruction/consumption, sequestration or marrow replacement.
