Medical School MD + DO Mastery

A 4-year, board-aligned study system for medical school and licensing exams.

Walk the full Year 1–4 curriculum — foundational sciences, organ-system blocks, clinical clerkships and advanced practice — each with mastery checklists and linked learning resources, plus a dedicated review system for school exams, Shelf/COMAT, USMLE Step 1–3 and COMLEX-USA Levels 1–3.

READINESS + FINAL-WEEK EXECUTION

YEAR 4 | PAGE 35D - CCSSA / COMSAE -> 7 DAYS -> 48 HOURS -> EXAM DAY

Readiness is a trend, not a single practice score. Combine official assessments, question-bank stability, timing, endurance, recurring-error frequency and your ability to execute the current exam interface.

K. OFFICIAL READINESS TOOLS

ToolCurrent format / roleBest use
NBME CCSSA200 questions: four sections of 50. Standard-paced option gives 75 minutes per section. Seven forms are currently available; results include ECP/readiness information and content feedback.Baseline + interval + near-final Step 2 calibration. Review domain trends and reasoning, not just total score.
COMSAE Phase 2Current Phase 2 format: 160 questions in four 40-question sections.COMLEX-oriented practice/readiness signal; use alongside your school requirements and the official Level 2 blueprint.
Official interfacesUSMLE updated Step 2 delivery software in May 2026; NBME comprehensive self-assessments received a new interface in June 2026.Practice the actual current interface, lab search, highlighting, image controls and block/break strategy before exam day.

L. FINAL 7-DAY FINISH

TimeExecution
Days 7-5One official or high-quality cumulative assessment if appropriate -> identify the final 3-5 weaknesses -> repair with targeted mixed questions. Do not start a new encyclopedic resource.
Days 4-3Mixed timed blocks; management algorithms; ethics/safety; prevention; nutrition; biostats; OPP/OMM for Level 2. Re-test repeat-error topics.
Day 2Moderate workload. Current interface rehearsal, break plan, medications/adverse effects, emergency sequences and personal error sheets.
Day 1Light retrieval only. Confirm logistics. Stop heavy new learning early. Protect sleep and normal routine.

L. FINAL 7-DAY FINISH — M. EXAM-DAY EXECUTION

  • Step 2 CK: think in 30-minute units. Do not let one difficult item contaminate the next block. Use the longer total break allotment strategically across the 16-block day.
  • Level 2-CE: manage 40-question sections inside two separately timed 4-hour sessions. Remember: advancing ends access to the prior section.
  • For both: answer every item, flag sparingly, protect time for the final questions, eat/hydrate predictably and treat a practice-tested break strategy as part of preparation.
  • When two answers both seem reasonable: ask which is safest and most appropriate now for this patient, at this severity, in this setting.

L. FINAL 7-DAY FINISH — N. PROFESSIONAL-EXAM MASTERY GATE

  • Can solve mixed cases without needing the specialty label first.
  • Can distinguish stabilization, next diagnostic test, confirmatory test, initial treatment, definitive treatment and disposition.
  • Can explain why the strongest distractor is wrong in timing, indication, contraindication or setting.
  • Can sustain timed performance with decreasing repeat errors across official-style assessments.
  • DO track: OPP/OMM and osteopathic framing remain retrievable without sacrificing the broad clinical-management core. NBME CCSSA | NBME Self-Assessments | COMSAE format | NBOME Bulletin | USMLE Step 2 CK
