YEAR 4 | PAGE 35A - CURRENT BLUEPRINT + QUESTION ARCHITECTURE

Build both exams around the same clinical core: STABILIZE -> DEFINE THE PROBLEM -> DIAGNOSE -> CHOOSE THE NEXT TEST -> TREAT -> REASSESS -> PREVENT / DISPOSITION. The exams differ in blueprint emphasis and osteopathic framing,

but both reward sequencing rather than isolated disease recall.

A. STEP 2 CK - WHAT THE BLUEPRINT ACTUALLY REWARDS — B. COMLEX LEVEL 2-CE - DISTINCTIVE OVERLAY

  • Keep the same diagnosis/management engine, then add osteopathic principles, practice and OMT where clinically appropriate; the current blueprint sets a 10% minimum for that competency domain.
  • Clinical-presentation minimums include Musculoskeletal 13%, Wellness 12%, Nervous System/Mental Health 10%, GI/Nutrition 10%, Circulatory/Hematologic 10% and Respiratory 10%.
  • Do not isolate OMM into the final week. Integrate structural diagnosis, contraindications, treatment selection and osteopathic philosophy during every clerkship.
